Papers go on a hike! We discuss advances in CS as we go, stop at a gazebo to go through the papers of the day, and then descend back from the heights.

Papers of the day:
- Bigger, Better, Faster: Human-level Atari with human-level efficiency ⬅️ advances in model-free RL
- FlashAttention-2: Faster Attention with Better Parallelism and Work Partitioning ⬅️ classic CS improves computational properties of attention again and everyone wants it

You don't have to be an expert in ML to attend, but please do read the papers. Bring sun protection, water, hiking footwear.
