Three-year-old Zain Abu Ismail is suffering from a complex and critical medical condition due to a congenital intestinal obstruction and the absence of nerves in the colon, which left him unable to pass stool through the anus and forced doctors to perform a stoma opening in his abdomen to rely on for excretion. Recently, his condition has deteriorated severely, threatening life-threatening complications at any moment following the development of severe infections and a massive swelling at the stoma site, amid an acute shortage of medical resources and equipment within the country and the inability to provide the necessary treatment.

الطفل زين أبو اسماعيل البالغ من العمر ثلاث سنوات، يعاني من حالة صحية معقدة وخطيرة للغاية نتيجة إصابته بانسداد معوي خلقي وعدم وجود عصب في القولون، وهو ما أفقده القدرة على التبرز عبر فتحة الشرج وأجبر الأطباء على إجراء فتحة مغايرة في بطنه ليعتمد عليها في الإخراج. وقد تفاقمت معاناته مؤخراً بشكل ينذر بمضاعفات تهدد حياته في أي لحظة، بعد أن ظهرت التهابات حادة وتضخم كبير في فتحة المفاغرة، في ظل عجز تام ونقص حاد في الإمكانيات والمعدات الطبية داخل البلاد وعدم القدرة على تقديم العلاج اللازم له.
