In this collection of reports, we explore the different approaches via which anarchists around the country engaged with the March 28 No Kings demonstrations.

There is tremendous anger and desire for change, but it is only just beginning to assume concrete forms.

While many people compare the Israeli occupation to apartheid, the Israeli occupation is much, much bloodier.

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission confirmed about 21,000 deaths altogether in South Africa between 1948 and 1994. The death toll since 2023 in Palestine alone—a much smaller population—is several times that.

While apartheid policies in South Africa imposed segregation, ethnic cleansing, and racially targeted violence, the Israeli government is intentionally pursuing genocide as state policy.

And all the bloodshed up to now is not enough—today, the Israeli voted to begin hanging prisoners.

Not to mention the ongoing bombardment and occupation of Lebanon.

In an interview today, former Border Patrol "Commander at Large" Gregory Bovino confirms that DHS is serious about deporting "100 million people." That's over a quarter of the US population.

If you're reading this in the US, that means they intend to deport *you.*

The resistance that people put up in Minnesota has forced the Trump regime to slow down, but their goal is still to establish a fascist autocracy using ICE as their shock troops—and ICE are ready.

Anyone who wants to merely "reform" ICE is either complicit or grotesquely oblivious.

Abolish DHS.

Sa Pag-Usab Sa Tanang Butang

usa ka anarkistang pagsangpit

https://crimethinc.com/tce/cebuano

Having channeled billions of dollars to ICE in order to establish his own personal gestapo, Donald Trump is now threatening to deploy ICE to airports.

This is a good time to recall how we shut down airports around the country in 2017 in protest of his Muslim ban.

Robert Mueller has died.

During the first Trump administration, the Mueller investigation represented the centrist fantasy that the so-called Justice Department could halt the slide into fascism.

In fact, the anticipated reckoning, dubbed "Mueller Time," never arrived.

It really is up to us.

https://crimethinc.com/muellertime

"Mueller Time is the political suspended animation in which the Democrats wait for a repeatedly deferred deus ex machina to deliver them from this unbearable pres(id)ent. This waiting, itself, rather than any of the grievous injustices that have taken place during it, is the essence of hell.

"Mueller Time is a way of inhabiting the eternally renewed amnesia that is America. This is the real 'deep state'—the part of each Democrat’s heart that will accept any amount of senseless violence and murder and oppression, provided it adheres to the letter of the law."

23 years ago today, the US attacked Iraq.

Just as the "War on Drugs" did not abolish the drug trade, the "War on Terror" only gave rise to more terror. But perhaps the point was to destabilize the region, ensuring the US would always have enemies to justify its imperial interventions.

Authoritarian regimes must create enemies that make them look good by comparison. In 2006, we speculated that the Bush administration was intentionally pursuing policies that fostered fundamentalist terrorism—a more convenient adversary than movements for liberation.

https://crimethinc.com/bushcounting

Today, desperately seeking to create enough turbulence to keep itself aloft, the Trump administration has returned to the strategy of intentionally destabilizing the Middle East.

But the US was an unrivaled power in 2003—whereas now, it is a waning empire.

The outcome may surprise everyone.

Iran between Repression, Co-optation, and War: Three Waves of Counterrevolution

https://crimethinc.com/IranianCounterrevolution

Somayeh Rostampour shows how the repression that the Iranian government has carried out to crush protests, the monarchist attempt to co-opt opposition movements and push them to the right, and the military assault that the US and Israel are currently carrying out against Iran are all different fronts within a single counterrevolution, reinforcing each other and combining to suppress the possibility of real liberation.

Today marks 155 years since the uprising that established the Paris Commune.

Before May Day became the international day to celebrate labor struggles, workers and other rebels observed March 18, the anniversary of the beginning of the Paris Commune in 1871.

https://crimethinc.com/arch18

For example, on March 18, 1877, the young Peter Kropotkin joined anarchists from all around Switzerland for a march in Bern. Kropotkin is largely remembered as a peaceable advocate of science and mutual aid, but he and his friends brought flagpoles, brass knuckles, and other weapons to defend themselves. After a lengthy street confrontation, they managed to rescue their red flag from police who tried to seize it, and proceeded to a 2000-strong meeting at which they recited speeches, sang revolutionary songs, and read out telegrams of encouragement from France and Spain.
