Spanish antifascist prisoners celebrate their liberation from the Nazi death camp at Mauthausen with a banner reading “The Spanish antifascists salute the liberating forces” on May 5, 1945.

Among them is the anarchist Antonio García Barón, who fought in the Durruti Column during the Spanish Civil War.
