圣诞节来分享一首应该所有人都听过的圣诞颂歌：Hark the Herald Angels Sing~ 但你知道吗，这首圣诞颂歌其实本来是门德尔松为古腾堡印刷机发明400周年所做的！！！全曲名叫做：Ceremonial song for the opening of the celebrations taking place on the first day of the quadricentennial celebration of the invention of the art of printing on the market square in Leipzig，一般简称 Gutenberg Cantata～这首cantata有三个部分，其中第二部分后来被这首圣诞颂歌采用～原曲的歌词就是在各种歌颂古腾堡啦（当然他值得🤣）大概画风是这样的：

Fatherland, in your shires
the golden day once dawned.
Germany, your peoples saw
its shimmer bring a thaw.
Gutenberg, the German man,
kindled the torch.

个人觉得这个adaptation真的很有趣也～耶稣诞生是一种意义的点亮了世界，而印刷机的发明也是另一种意义上的点亮世界～另外古腾堡印刷机印刷的最早的书之一就是圣经～
