I prefer Iran’s geography to these name games. Iran has 2,154 km of southern coastline (2,440 km with islands), of which ~796 km is oceanic. Iraq’s coastline is a mere 58 km. a permanent Geostrategy catastrophe that no renaming can erase. in war, Saddam fully grasped this weakness.
