Face unlock, screenshot sound toggle, ambient wake gestures and haptics, IME space toggle, status bar icons switch for Volte, vowifi, etc., ignore secure window, all downgrade, screen off animations, bootanimation styles and font styles are now all available for our Android 17 builds!
Regarding our Android 17 version of Evolution X, we'll go back to basics and stick with our roots. Most of our more recent versions were saddled with extreme customization and while that has its pros and cons, we would like to provide a more stable version this time around. Customization will still be there, but not as much as previous versions and we're focusing more now on providing fixes within the OS and sticking to the Pixel UI and features.
This means it may look like a throwback to the days of Pixel Experience, or similar to available ROMs nowadays with PixelOS or Statix, but trust us that our Android 17 version will still have the same flavor of Evolution X that you guys love. We just want a more stable feel again this time around.
We will still use LineageOS as our base, and import less from our Android 16 customization unless it's truly useful like font customization or swipe to screenshot, which we're currently in the process of bringing back. We hope you guys will appreciate the changes and our current focus/goals.
