⚡️ We have reduced the minimum number of shards from 16 to 1 in the mainnet.

Why did this?
🔹 The current procedure for finding consensus slows down the release of blocks
🔹 The current load on the network can be handled by fewer shards
🔹 We tested the network in devnet and got a performance boost

What's next?
SMFT protocol is currently being developed and tested. When implementing it in the mainnet, the speed of reaching consensus will be significantly increased.
