The update process
🔹 10% of the nodes were successfully updated before the official publication
🔹 On June 22 at 18:35 (UTC+0), instructions for updating the node were published
🔹 On June 24 at 11:20 (UTC+0), ~30% of the nodes were updated, the degradation of the network began
🔹 On June 24 at 18:44 (UTC+0), the network stopped due to incompatibility of the new and old versions
🔹 June 24 at 21:37 (UTC+0) updated >70% node network restored
🔹 June 26 at 10:00 (UTC+0) >82% of the nodes updated

Reason for network shutdown
The 0.50.21 node was backward compatible with the blocks of the old version of the node. All new features were enabled and by default they all were turned off.
With this in mind, we planned to make the update unnoticed by users within 7 days.

Unfortunately, one of the possible processes while processing bounce messages was calculated in node 0.50.21 according to the new scheme.
This led to the fact that old and new nodes could not come to a consensus when releasing a block including these transactions.
This led to a network shutdown and alerting all validators to update as soon as possible.
