پروژه‌های اینجوری شاید بنظر بزرگ نیان، اما خیلی از پروژه‌های بزرگ ازینجور جاها شروع کردن. از آدمایی که صرفا از روی کنجکاوی دست به عمل زدن. از طرفی خیلی از پروژه‌ها الهام بخش پروژه‌ی بزرگ‌تری بودن ولی شاید خودشون به جایی نرسیدن.

خودم ازین موضوع کنجکاو شدم و دادم کلود سرچ بکنه اینجور پروژه‌ها رو ببینه چی اثر بخش بوده نتایجش جالب بود:
NHibernate — a Java Hibernate port that never had huge mindshare on its own, but it's the reason Entity Framework exists and looks the way it does; a lot of EF's mapping vocabulary is inherited from it.

StructureMap — one of the first .NET IoC containers, quietly niche, but it set the patterns (fluent registration, convention-based scanning) that Autofac, Ninject, and eventually the built-in Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyInjection all borrowed from.

log4net — a Java log4j port, mostly superseded now, but NLog and Serilog were both explicit reactions to its limitations (structured logging didn't exist in log4net).
