Early this morning, around 5 a.m. (GMT), without any prior notice or requests, the Telegram team unilaterally removed the bot @etlgr_bot.

The bot had more than 780,000 active chats, five years of stable operation, and hundreds of thousands of satisfied users worldwide.

Throughout our years of operation, we have always strived to build productive and friendly relationships with all partners and clients. Due to the significant load on our API servers, we maintained direct contact with the Telegram team, which is currently unresponsive.

Since the bot could only be used to receive emails, it is impossible to accuse us of distributing any inappropriate or prohibited content.

At the moment, we are leveraging all our contacts to obtain information on what exactly happened and the reason behind this ban.

We care about our clients. As soon as we find a solution to the issue, we will provide an update.

Сегодня ночью, около 5 a.m (GMT), без каких-либо предварительных уведомлений или запросов, команда Телеграм в одностороннем порядке удалила бот @etlgr_bot

У бота было более 780 000 активных чатов, 5 лет стабильной работы и сотни тысяч довольных клиентов по всему миру.

За годы нашей работы мы всегда старались выстраивать продуктивные и дружеские отношения со всеми партнерами и клиентами.
Так как у нас была довольно серьезная нагрузка на api сервера, у нас был прямой контакт с командой телеграм, которая в данный момент не выходит на связь.

Так как бот можно было использовать только для получения e-mail, нас невозможно обвинить в распространении какого-либо неприемлемого или запрещенного контента.

В данный момент, мы, используя все наши контакты, пытаемся получить информацию, что именно произошло, и в чем причина такой блокировки.

Мы заботимся о наших клиентах. Как только мы найдем пути решения проблемы, мы сообщим об этом отдельно.

We have experienced network issues, the problem is already reported by users and it is already fixed by devops department. Emails delivery will be back soon, all emails will be delivered.

Delivery delay because of Telegram API connectivity issue. The issue is already reported, awaiting for resolving.

We experience issues with attachments processing, this will be fixed within couple hours.

В тестовом режиме включили IPv6, Яндекс принимает, сообщения не блокируются, но могут с небольшой задержкой приходить. Протестировали @etlgr.me и сделали новый вспомогательный домен @tg.etlgrforbusiness.com. Вместо ваш_адрес@etlgr.com/me, можно пробовать ваш_адрес@tg.etlgrforbusiness.com.

Убедительная просьба писать обратную связь в @adastreamer об успешных и неуспешных тестах с указанием адреса, на который отправляете, и название сервиса, откуда отправляете.

We have enabled IPv6 support and this should help to improve the availability of the service. In some certain jurisdictions the service might be blocked by governments, and usually only IPv4 addresses are affected, so we have tested it using domain @etlgr.me and seems like it works, also we have enabled additional gateway @tg.etlgrforbusiness.com. Feel free to use it if etlgr.com and etlgr.me do not work. Messages might go with a small delay, but we will make tests to fix it asap.

Please, share your feedback for any successful/failed tests directly to @adastreamer specifying the target email address you send messages to, as well as the source service you’re expecting messages from.

We see a lot of responses from Telegram like “not enough rights to send text messages to the chat”. Please be sure the bot has enough permissions to send messages to the conversation it’s included in!
