Every time i think about buying a game i first ask "who was this made for?". If I cannot concretely answer the question I do not buy the game.
Who was the new Gears of War game made for? Was it made for Gears fans? Unless three quarters of them trooned out since I last looked then no, it wasn't make for them. Was it made for cover shooter fans? Maybe, but I thought cover shooter fans liked a slower game and wall sliding kind of ruined that. Could it have been made for trans people? That would be a very strange audience to serve, but they do have a lot of pent up rage so maybe that is the case. I don't know.
