We talk about the ongoing Russian electoral exercise - a kind of Olympic Games for the administration. In an authoritarian system, they test discipline, mobilise officials, measure obedience, and produce numbers that later acquire administrative meaning -including wartime utility. We also touch upon electoral demographics and the importance of middle-aged women for the preservation of the system's stability and functionality.
