[ENG below] В рамках выставки “No such people here” 4 ноября в 19:00 пройдет показ документального фильма “Welcome to Chechnya”. Фильм повествует о систематическом преследовании ЛГБТК-людей в Чечне в конце 2010-х годов и показывает работу волонтеров, помогающих жертвам пыток и репрессий спастись. Картина была отмечена наградами на международных кинофестивалях Сандэнс и Берлинале.
После показа состоится публичное обсуждение фильма с его героями: руководителем организации СК СОС Давидом Истеевым и Максимом Лапуновым - первым человеком, открыто заявившим, что стал жертвой пыток в Чечне из-за гомосексуальности.

[ENG] As part of the exhibition, the movie “Welcome to Chechnya” will be shown. The film tells the story of the systematic persecution of LGBTQ+ people in Chechnya in the late 2010s and shows the work of volunteers helping victims of torture and repression to escape. The film received awards at the Sundance and Berlinale international film festivals.
After the screening, there will be a public discussion of the film with its heroes: the head of the SK SOS organization, David Isteev, and Maxim Lapunov, the first person to openly declare that he was a victim of torture in Chechnya because of homosexuality.
