Why account abstraction is the future?

5 main insights from the keynote by Michael Messele, CEO & Co-founder of Etherspot

🧑🏻‍💻 We need account abstraction to make Web3 more user-friendly. The aim is to make Web3 as usable as ordinary banking

📜 With account abstraction, we can create programmable and modular smart contract-based accounts, adding cool functionality like social logins, streamlined recovery processes, and updating through modules.

💱 There are going to be new cool features for transaction management:

- Batch transactions allow multiple operations to be executed with a single signature.
- Session keys offer granular control over permissions and limits for specific dApps
- And paymasters can subsidise gas fees.

🌍 Real-World applications, baby!!

For example, in event ticketing and betting services, we can create a Web2-like experience.

🔗 In future, we can see an omni-chain experience, where users interact across different blockchains without worrying about specific chain requirements.
