🇺🇸🇮🇷U.S. forces destroyed a dhow linked to Iran in the Gulf of Oman that, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), was conducting surveillance and tracking U.S. Navy ships.

CENTCOM also said that over the past seven months Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has indiscriminately targeted thousands of civilian mariners transiting regional waters, in addition to U.S. Navy warships. The crew was removed before the vessel was destroyed, and repatriation efforts are ongoing.
