Farkhod Ibragimov, CEO of Enterprise Uzbekistan, and Amir Mardiev, Vice Chairman, met Professor Mark Beer OBE, Chairman of The Metis Institute, a day after his talk at the Enterprise Uzbekistan Summit during ICT Week 2026.

The parties discussed how dispute resolution for Enterprise Uzbekistan residents will be organised and how international businesses can take part in drafting its implementing acts. Prof. Beer shared his experience of building courts and dispute resolution institutions from the ground up and involving the business community in regulation through advisory councils.

The Metis Institute has joined the Founding Contributors initiative and is working with Enterprise Uzbekistan on the due diligence acts.
