🇮🇷 | Shocking Updates Regarding the Assassination of Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi (r): (1/2)
Hossein Kolivand, Head of the Red Crescent Society, in conversation with Javad Moghouei.
Javad Moghouei (Interviewer): Was Raisi assassinated?
Hossein Kolivand (Head of the Red Crescent Society): I believe so. It seemed like the GPS was getting confused there. Something happened. It was never normal to me.
Kolivand: The weather was severe, Raisi. It was a complex situation. It was foggy, dark, and there was no visibility. A night-vision helicopter couldn’t do anything either. Even the locations they gave us were all wrong.
Moghouei: Did we finally find Dr. Raisi, or did Turkey find him?
Kolivand: We found him. Anyone who says Turkey found him is wrong.
Kolivand: May God bless Sardar Salami, and may God bless Sardar Pakpour. We were together. We had 90 teams searching.
Kolivand: There was a drone belonging to the IRGC, but it was with us. It was accompanying us and even had a Red Crescent cover.
Kolivand: We sent that drone to spot the location. The drone’s first sign and message came when its monitor showed, “Look, here it is.”
Kolivand: It wasn’t far from us, perhaps two kilometers away. But it took us 40 minutes to get there. We saw the conditions, and if you remember the interview I gave, I said, “Sir, the conditions are difficult. Let me reach the location.” I was losing my breath, and it was uphill, too. It was hard for me. I said, “Let me reach the location.” After passing the dismembered bodies of the martyrs, I reached Sungun Mine at 11 o’clock. That Turkish reporter came to interview me, but I told him I wasn’t in the mood for an interview. After I left, he went up to the helicopters and said, “Here it is.”
Kolivand: Meanwhile, they do a good job of promoting themselves.
Moghouei: Why did it take so long, Mr. Doctor? It was terrible. We couldn’t find the president for an entire day?
Kolivand: We had no visibility. We truly had no visibility.
Kolivand: Even at 1:00 AM, I was 500 meters away from them. I was right above them, where I said that the fire might be coming from there or something similar. But the location they provided was 10 kilometers off.
Kolivand: The location that was provided, and the people who were hitting the BTS [cell towers], made it seem as though the GPS was getting confused there and an incident had occurred. It was never normal to me.
Kolivand: When we reached the area above the helicopters, both mobile phones had a signal and internet access. So why couldn’t they contact them?
Kolivand: I am not a specialist in this field.
Moghouei: Was Mr. Raisi assassinated?
Kolivand: I believe so, because I can never accept that an incident was simply natural.
Moghouei: You are really making a point. You say all the antennas were there and the phones were ringing, so how could no communication be established?
Kolivand: It wasn’t providing the correct location. It was giving the wrong location. You should ask the specialists why.
Moghouei: Who gave you the location? The Ministry of Communications or Baja [intelligence/operations]?
Kolivand: The people stationed at Sungun Mine, whether they were from Hamrah-e Aval, Baja, or law enforcement, were all there. They would receive the information, send it to us, and we would set off toward the location.
Kolivand: The late Friday Imam of Tabriz had fallen on one side, and Shahid Raisi had fallen on another side, along with Mr. Amir-Abdollahian…
Moghouei: No, Shahid Raisi and Mr. Amir-Abdollahian were actually in the same place. Mr. Al-Hashem was about five meters away from them.
Moghouei: Since you have witnessed many incidents and are very familiar with such situations, was the scene itself normal?
Kolivand: There was no place where this helicopter would have been expected to crash. However, I am neither a pilot nor a flight engineer. As someone who has experienced many accidents, I can say that the incident did not seem normal to us. It was not like the helicopter crash we had experienced.
