This morning, a second non-compliant supertanker caught fire in a massive blaze after striking a sea mine.

This supertanker was also carrying more than 2 million barrels of crude oil. According to the statement, it attempted to transit through an unauthorized route with the help of the “aggressor US military,” after switching off all positioning and radar systems. After striking the mine, a massive explosion occurred in the vessel’s engine room, bringing the non-compliant ship to a halt.
