Terrorist groups in the southeast of the country, tasked by the Zionist regime with creating insecurity in this region, have attempted in recent weeks, through several limited and surprising operations with extensive media coverage, accompanied by media assistance from hypocrites, to present an image of comprehensive insecurity and the inability of security forces to confront them.

However, the truth is that in recent weeks, they have suffered the heaviest blows from the security agencies. The arrest of a number of key elements, the killing of a number of members, the seizure of equipment, and the destruction of several safe houses indicate the intelligence oversight and high combat capability of the security forces responsible for maintaining security in this region.

These groups, which are under pressure on the real battlefield, have resorted to perception warfare to hide their weakness from their regional allies and Israel, raise the morale of their affiliated forces, influence public opinion, and create the illusion of the security agencies’ inability.

Another important point is that when groups on the battlefield lack the ability to maintain independent steadfastness and withstand blows, the only remaining option is to gather scattered elements to create the appearance of a larger front. The creation of a new group under the name of the Popular Struggle Front was, in fact, based on this.

Therefore, there is a large gap between the field situation of these groups and the image they create of themselves in the media space.

The extent of media coverage of an operation does not equate to the breadth of operational capability or field influence, and a surprise operation, even if tactically successful, does not mean strategic superiority.
