🇾🇪 Yemen

— After gaining control of Najd Al-Qasim, Yemeni forces seized Al-Kulaybah. They then joined forces with troops coming from Al-Bayrin and launched an attack on Al-Masrakh from multiple directions. AnsarAllah captured Najd Al-Qasim southwest of Taiz city, Al-Kulaybah, Al-Hanjar checkpoint at the western entrance of Taiz city and the Central Prison in Taiz.

— Yemeni armed forces had succeeded in pushing Saudi-backed forces out of Al-Masrakh district in Taiz province and had completely cleared the area of their presence. A later front-line map update reported that AnsarAllah had captured the major town of Al-Masrakh, along with Al-Kulaybah, Najd Al-Qasim, Al-Hanjar checkpoint and the Central Prison.

— Yemeni armed forces continued their rapid advance toward Jabal Sabr, only mountain range separating them from Taiz city. Yemeni forces seized Al-Sarari village and moved toward the summit of Jabal Al-Arous. Jabal Sabr was the last stronghold of Saudi-backed forces before the complete siege of their positions inside Taiz city is tightened.

— Now, Yemeni forces were continuing their advance toward Jabal Sabr while consolidating control over positions around Al-Masrakh, Najd Al-Qasim, Al-Kulaybah and the western approaches to Taiz.

— Hours ago, Yemeni armed forces targeted Khamis Mushait in southwestern Saudi Arabia with a ballistic missile.

— Separate reports said Yemeni forces launched a missile attack against Abha in southern Saudi Arabia. Saudi Civil Defense announced that warning sirens sounded in Abha.

— Saudi Arabia acknowledged that the Eastern Province had been targeted by a drone. Explosions were heard in Riyadh, with another explosion reported later in the night.

🇮🇶 Iraq

— Kata’ib Hezbollah congratulated the people and leadership of Yemen on the military operations and expressed support for Yemen’s position. They said:

“We congratulate our brothers in steadfast Yemen, people and leadership, on the military operations to defend the dignity of its people and its usurped rights, following the blockade imposed on it by the Saudi entity, and with the support of the Zionist-American enemy and its tools in the region. While we call on Mohammed bin Salman and his masters to accept defeat and lift the unjust blockade on the people of Yemen, we affirm that the Iraqi people and their Islamic resistance stand by them in their just cause.
The discordant voices emanating from here and there only express their owners, for our authentic people, with all their spectrums and components, remain a support and aid for all the true causes of the nation. We, in Kata’ib Hezbollah, call on the mujahideen brothers in Yemen to continue inflicting punishment on the horn of Satan and the enemies of humanity, until victory is achieved, rights are restored to their owners, and injustice is lifted from the oppressed Yemeni people. #IraqiResistance

— Iraqi security authorities announced the dismantling of a cell accused of planning to destabilize security and stability in Anbar.

— The Iraqi Air Force carried out an F-16 strike targeting remnants of ISIS in the Diyala operations sector.

🇮🇷/🇸🇦 Iran and Saudi Arabia

— Saudi state media reported that the Saudi foreign minister received a phone call from his Iranian counterpart and that they discussed the latest escalation in the region.

— Iran’s foreign minister told his Saudi counterpart that Tehran was ready to provide assistance to facilitate dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

🇸🇦 Saudi airport situation and wider impact

— Madinah Airport reportedly experienced a recovery in flight traffic as flights were diverted there from Riyadh, coinciding with reports that AnsarAllah had exempted the holy city’s airspace from targeting.

— The disruption to Saudi aviation also affected the World Petroleum Congress scheduled to be held in Riyadh.
