One particularly important point raised by @Alqadhi1Anas concerns the motives behind the Saudi-backed "Operation Dawn of Yemen."
If this operation were genuinely conceived and led by Yemeni leadership, in pursuit of Yemeni national interests, why has it concentrated on the flat coastal plains along the West Coast rather than the strategic highlands surrounding Taiz, Yemen's third-largest city?
The answer, as the argument goes, is that this operation is neither driven by Yemeni interests nor directed by independent Yemeni leadership.
Its primary objective is to reestablish Saudi control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait, securing the uninterrupted passage of Saudi and international commercial shipping.
In other words, the operation is fundamentally about safeguarding capitalist interests, protecting global trade routes, and insulating international commerce from disruption.
It is not about Yemen's sovereignty, its people, or their aspirations. It is about the security of capital, not the liberation of Yemen.
It never was about Yemen.
