🇾🇪 Yemen / 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia

— AnsarAllah forces reportedly expelled Saudi-affiliated forces from Jabal Habashi in Taiz following intense clashes. Yemeni forces have reportedly taken control of more than 2,000 square kilometres of territory, in addition to previously captured areas along the western coast, including more than 5,000 square kilometres covering areas around Mocha, Dhubab and Bab al-Mandab.

— AnsarAllah forces reached the major town of Al-Misrakh on the route toward Taiz city, where heavy clashes continued. Yemeni forces subsequently took control of the market and administrative centre of Al-Misrakh district. They are now reported to be advancing towards Najd al-Qasim after securing Al-Misrakh, with control of Jabal Sabr, Usab and Wadi al-Dabab described as the remaining objectives needed to fully besiege Saudi-backed forces inside Taiz city.

— Saudi-backed PLC forces attempted to mass troops and military vehicles in Ras al-Arah on the Bab al-Mandab front for an offensive towards Dhubab. The gathering was reportedly struck by ballistic missiles before the offensive could begin, with the troop and vehicle concentration described as destroyed.

— Yemeni armed forces continued targeting Saudi positions. Yemeni missiles were reported heading towards Saudi territory, while Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport was targeted again. Three Saudi citizens were reportedly killed and several others wounded in two attacks targeting the airport and a Saudia Airlines aircraft. Saudi authorities did not identify those responsible for the attacks, while AnsarAllah claimed responsibility for a ballistic missile strike on the airport.

— Pakistan International Airlines suspended flights to Riyadh following orders from the Yemeni armed forces to impose an air blockade on Saudi Arabia. Dubai-based Flydubai also cancelled flights to Riyadh, Yanbu and Abha because of security concerns. Airspace disruptions over Riyadh continued, while the number of aircraft avoiding landing at Jeddah airport rose to five. Flights over Dammam city in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province were also disrupted. Najran and Jazan airports remained closed to flights for more than 77 hours.

— Yemeni forces also targeted Aden airport and Saudi-backed military gatherings in Aden. Renewed explosions were reported in Sanaa as Saudi aircraft continued to target communications networks and other areas of the capital.

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia

— Saudi Aramco is expected to restore full crude-oil allocations to European refiners in November after the East-West pipeline resumed operations following attacks. At least three European refiners have reportedly been informed that they will receive their full requested crude volumes next month, after Saudi Arabia had allocated no crude to European customers for October and refiners were forced to seek alternative supplies.

🇮🇷 Iran / 🇦🇪 UAE / Gulf

— A maritime incident was reported about 13 nautical miles west of an island off the UAE coast. The UK Maritime Trade Operations centre said a vessel had been struck by an unidentified projectile and caught fire, although the fire was later brought under control. The condition of the crew, extent of damage and environmental consequences remained unclear as authorities investigated the incident. Iranian-linked reporting subsequently claimed that the IRGC Navy had struck an oil tanker near Fujairah, with oil reportedly leaking from the vessel.

🇹🇷 Turkey

— A Turkish combat drone, reportedly an Akinci, was tracked after departing from Van province before its identification signal was switched off near Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Its destination remained unclear, with possibilities including movement towards Yemen or redeployment to a Saudi base. The development came after Yemeni forces reportedly shot down a drone of the same type over Taiz.
