πΎπͺ Yemen β Saudi Arabia
β Yemeni forces repelled Saudi-backed forces from several areas on the western coast of Yemen. The Yemeni Armed Forces also took control of the Al-Haql area near Jabal Habashi, west of Taiz.
β A Yemeni military source said the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted Saudi military gatherings between Ras Al-Arah and Al-Suqiya with more than 20 missile and drone strikes during the day. Dozens were reportedly killed or wounded, and several vehicles were burned. A large number of wounded were transferred to hospitals in Aden and Lahj. The Yemeni Armed Forces said the attacks targeted Saudi military gatherings and that they continued to expel Saudi-backed forces from areas of Taiz Governorate.
β Three Saudi soldiers were reportedly killed on the Saudi-Yemen border during the previous 24 hours.
β Residents in Riyadh said they felt their homes shaking following a missile attack from Yemen. Riyadh was also hit by two explosions, while Riyadh Airport operations were suspended and aircraft were reportedly unable to land following retaliatory attacks by Yemeni forces. The Riyadh Airport was reportedly targeted again.
β AnsarAllah Political Bureau member Mohammed Al-Farah said: βThe Saudi enemy targets Al-Salif port.β
β The pocket containing the Bani Qadis area completely collapsed, with AnsarAllah forces advancing and local political council forces reportedly surrendering their weapons.
β The Yemeni Armed Forces are attacking sites of the 35th Armored Brigade in the Jabal Matran and Houban Quds areas of Quds District, Taiz Governorate.
β Gatherings of vehicles and soldiers on the Dhubab fronts, particularly Dhubab Airport, were reportedly exposed to a barrage of ballistic missiles and drones.
β Reports said AnsarAllah had recaptured Dhubab Airport and Murad on the Bab Al-Mandab front in southwestern Yemen, reversing the gains previously made by PLC-aligned forces in the sector.
β On the Bab Al-Mandab front, PLC forces had initially captured Murad and Dhubab Airport in an operation involving more than 100 Saudi fighter jets. However, the PLC was unable to advance beyond Dhubab Airport toward Dhubab or Mokha, while Al-Omari military camp on Omari Mountain remained under AnsarAllah control.
β The entire Bani Quds pocket reportedly collapsed, with AnsarAllah forces moving in and PLC forces surrendering their weapons. More than 50 PLC forces were reportedly taken prisoner, while dozens were killed or wounded.
β On the northern Taiz front, AnsarAllah forces were reportedly pushing northward and had almost captured Al-Misrakh and Al-Aqroodh.
β AnsarAllah reportedly struck withdrawn PLC forces with precision-guided artillery and missiles. More than 100 PLC members were reportedly killed or wounded in Ras Al-Arah, which remained under continuous fire.
β AnsarAllah forces reportedly met up and closed the Taiz pocket, advanced toward Qasas Mountain and in the direction of Al-Misrakh, and brought Jabal Habashi almost entirely under their control.
β AnsarAllah reportedly turned the Taiz salient into a pocket, fully encircling the PLC-controlled city of Taiz. Roads were cut off, preventing PLC forces from freely withdrawing from the city.
β Yemeni forces coming from Al-Ahkum and Al-Masla reportedly joined forces with troops from Al-Turbah after the capture of Alifah, Jabal Sabran, Quds and Al-Madhahij. The development reportedly secured a new supply route from Hayfan to Al-Turbah and opened an additional logistics line.
β Yemeni forces reportedly took control of Al-Hujrah, while As-Salou remained under opposing control. Bani Yusuf was also reportedly captured. The next objectives were identified as Al-Masrakh, Jabal, Al-Nawazil and Wadi Al-Dabbab before reaching Taiz city.
β AnsarAllah reportedly completely encircled Taiz city and PLC formations around Bani Yusuf. Fighting for Ala Sharjab had also begun as forces moved toward the southern direction.
