Explosions were reported in Sana’a following the strikes. Reports also said Saudi aviation carried out attacks in Taiz as Ansar Allah forces continued their advance on several fronts.
— The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said Saudi warplanes had launched 47 airstrikes and missile attacks during the previous 24 hours, targeting civilian objects including communication networks and schools in Taiz, Saada, and Al-Jawf. He said the attacks involved F-15 and Typhoon aircraft operating from Khamis Mushait and Taif airbases, as well as missile attacks launched from Jizan. Saree said the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the escalation began had reached 1,256.
— The Yemeni PLC Armed Forces advised civilians to avoid numerous roads and routes across Taiz and surrounding areas until further notice because of the ongoing fighting. The restricted routes included roads connecting Sana’a, Dhamar, Ibb, Al-Qa’idah, Al-Hawban, Al-Qasr, Al-Dimnah, Al-Rahidah, Hayfan, Al-Qubaytah, Al-Mafalis, Jabal Habashi, Sam’, Al-Wazi’iyah, Mawza, Dhubab, Al-Mukha, and other areas.
