🇱🇧 Lebanon

Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory continued on September 30. Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on Al-Mansouri, while an Israeli drone carried out a strike on Al-Jarmuq. Israeli artillery shelling targeted Wadi Al-Salouqi, Hadatha, Kafr Tibnit, Al-Khiam, Al-Majidiyah, Wadi Khansa–Kfar Shuba, Beit Yahoun, Harsh Ayta Al-Jabal, Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah, Baraashit, and Al-Mansouri. Israeli forces also carried out explosions in Harsh Beit Yahoun, Houla, Al-Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, and Markaba.

Further Israeli attacks were reported during the day. Artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of Baraashit and Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah, while Israeli forces carried out explosions in Al-Mansouri. Properties and forests were reported burned in Al-Mansouri, and homes were burned in Houla amid the movement of Israeli military vehicles. Artillery shelling also targeted the outskirts of Shaqra. Later reports said hostile artillery shelling targeted Al-Mansouri and the outskirts of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah, smoke bombs were dropped over Bayt Al-Siyad, and Israeli vehicles were moving in Arnoun.

🇵🇸 Gaza • Occupied Palestine

Israeli occupation forces opened fire east of Al-Tuffah neighbourhood east of Gaza City, while an Israeli airstrike was also reported east of Gaza City. Israeli military forces also reportedly assassinated Muhammad Abdul Aziz Al-Najjar in Khan Yunis. According to the Israeli army, Al-Najjar was a member of the military wing of Hamas and had participated in the October 7 attack. A Hermes 450 reconnaissance aircraft was also reported flying at low altitude over Khan Yunis.

🇸🇾 Occupied Syria

Syrian sources reported at least eight Israeli violations in southern Occupied Syria during the previous 24 hours, including four incursions.

🇵🇰 Pakistan • 🇦🇫 Afghanistan

Afghan officials reported that Pakistani airstrikes killed four people in Afghanistan. Other reports said Pakistani raids targeted Kunar and Helmand provinces and caused civilian casualties. The Afghan government later said nine Afghan civilians, including women and children, were killed and 11 others injured in Pakistani airstrikes on two areas of Afghanistan the previous night.

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia • 🇾🇪 Yemen

Saudi aviation continued airstrikes on Yemen, including two raids against a building in Al-Barh in Maqbanah District of Taiz and three airstrikes on Sahar District in Saada Governorate.

🇧🇭 Bahrain

The Al Khalifa regime issued a two-year prison sentence against eulogy reciter Ahmed Qurban, who was described in the report as a prisoner of conscience.

america imposed sanctions on Iran’s rail and automobile industries with the stated aim of further isolating Iran. america also added two individuals and 28 companies to its sanctions list against Iran.

A Wall Street Journal report said dozens of Iranian and Iran-linked tankers had been left stranded in Asian waters as america increased pressure on countries and companies servicing vessels involved in Iran’s sanctioned oil trade. Around 20 empty Iranian tankers were reportedly drifting off Sri Lanka, with some crews running low on food, fuel, and fresh water. Other vessels were reportedly stranded near Malaysia, India, and China, while Washington had pressured Sri Lanka to prevent local companies from supplying sanctioned vessels and warned of secondary sanctions.

🇬🇧 Britain • 🇮🇷 Iran

British counter-terrorism police arrested a 27-year-old British-Iranian national in London on suspicion of involvement in preparing terrorist acts related to the RAF Fairford plot. The counter-terrorism department said it was examining all possible possibilities, including possible foreign state involvement.

🇪🇹 Ethiopia • 🇪🇷 Eritrea

Ethiopia said it would close its embassy in Eritrea and ordered 10 Eritrean diplomats to leave the country within 48 hours, accusing Eritrea of “direct and indirect acts of hostility and belligerence.”
