Of course, they say this according to worldly calculations; but according to divine calculations, a country that considers itself devoted to the Pure Ahl al-Bayt, peace and blessings be upon them all, whose people are deeply attached to those exalted figures and have no fear in establishing the truth, is considered the foremost power in the world.

Those days, the two seas to the south of Iran were a field of operation for enemy forces. But today, because of the painful blows they have received from the courageous fighters and the defenders of the Strait of Hormuz, they do not advance beyond the Arabian Sea, and whenever they have taken this risk, they have inflicted damage upon themselves. It will not be long before the Arabian Sea itself also drives them out.

There were days when the hegemonic powers, through psychological operations and creating an atmosphere of fear, emptied the streets of the capital and launched a coup against the independence-seeking aspirations of this nation, after which they plundered the wealth of this country for 25 years. But today, for seven months, our compatriots have adorned the squares and streets throughout the country with their responsible and enthusiastic presence, so that the hearts of the fighters of Islam remain strong and the enemy is struck with fear.

More than 30 million Iranians have also declared their readiness for self-sacrifice. Then, when it was announced that their presence would be organized again, more than 500,000 people filled the requested capacity within only the first 100 minutes. At present, throughout Islamic Iran, adorned by the presence of Iranians from diverse ethnic groups, various declarations of readiness, particularly armed readiness, exist in order to create a battlefield that will bring them honor and their enemy disgrace.

There were days when the courage of the people of this land was represented by its men. But today we are in days when women surpass men in some areas of courageous participation.

There were days when the enemy sought to continually weaken the social base of the system. But today, various sections of society, despite their obvious differences, insist on preserving their rightful positions, including preserving the blessed Strait of Hormuz.

This comparison between the former days and the present days can again be expanded and explained, but in a single word, I, as a servant of the dear people of Iran, declare that those former days to which our enemy wishes to return have passed and will never be repeated.

And of course, I must painfully and sorrowfully remind you that in these days, the absence of the Great Khomeini and the great and honorable Khamenei, may God exalt their noble rank, whose leadership the country’s present dignity owes much to, is deeply felt. But thanks to the valuable treasure left behind by their conduct and their brilliant and guiding words for their followers, the coming days will be far more glorious than these days. For that phoenix which emerged from the ashes of the fire of the First Imposed War has now, as a result of enemy pressure, particularly the two recent imposed wars, grown so large that the shadow of its flight has also fallen over the lands of the enemy.

It is very appropriate on this occasion to commemorate, on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the heroic Arab commander and great symbol of the Resistance Front, the noble martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, may Allah sanctify his pure soul.

He was a sincere well-wisher for his people and his school, whose sincere and eloquent sermons and courageous actions strengthened the hearts of his people and indeed the free people of the world.

He was the one who elevated the name of Lebanon—a small country that for years had become the backyard of certain powers—to greatness.

He was a man for whom victory and triumph were constant companions, and without a doubt, throughout the entire history of the Levant until today, after the prophets and their successors, no man of his greatness had risen in that ancient land.
