🇮🇷 | Statement by the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council on false reports concerning air transportation:

The publication of certain false interpretations and inaccurate quotations of the remarks made by the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council regarding air transportation has raised questions and ambiguities. The following is hereby announced:

1. The claim that Iran will take military retaliatory action in response to the recent air restrictions is denied.

2. Negotiations between Iran and the relevant countries to lift certain illegally imposed air restrictions are being seriously pursued and followed up.

3. There are several non-military means of retaliation available, which, if necessary, will be applied to certain airports. However, we hope that the matter will not reach this point.
