🇾🇪 Yemen ❌ 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia

Yemeni forces launched a missile attack against Saudi-backed forces in Yemen. Ansar Allah continued its field advance on the Al-Shamaytin front after securing Jabal Jurdan and capturing the Al-Alqamah and Sharirah fronts near the Rasin mountain range overlooking Al-Turbah, the southern gateway to Taiz Governorate. The advance gives Sana’a forces fire control over supply routes on the Al-Madharib fronts. Ansar Allah also tightened its control over a series of strategic positions in Lahj Governorate, including most of the mountains in the Kahboub area, such as Jabal Hujaijah, Jabal Qala’, Tabat Mafita, and the areas of Al-Ardi, Al-Muhawalah, Al-Aghbarah, Al-Mashawlah, Al-Bawkarah, Wadi Al-Madharib, and Al-Saqiyah. Yemeni forces continued advancing toward the Al-Aneen front in Jabal Habshi District in western Taiz. Reports also said Ansar Allah captured Jabal Rasin and Al-Damdam in the direction of Al-Turbah and the Taiz–Aden road, as well as Al-Aswad, Al-Aghbirah, Manan, Al-Dharifah, and Uqbah Al-Mansourah along the Taiz–Lahj border.

Ansar Allah also consolidated its hold over Al-Akkad in the direction of Bireen and Al-Ajram towards Safiya junction, expanding its positions toward the Taiz–Aden road. The developments come amid continued fighting across the southern Taiz front. Earlier reports said Sana’a forces had captured the Al-Alqamah and Sharirah areas after several days of fierce battles and were advancing toward the Rasin mountain range overlooking Al-Turbah and key roads linking Taiz with other areas. These developments were accompanied by Saudi airstrikes and artillery attacks across Taiz, Al-Jawf, and Saada. Separately, reports said missiles were launched from Yemen towards Saudi Arabia, while explosions were heard in Sanaa.

🇮🇶 Iraq

- The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) foiled an attempt by ISIS cells to infiltrate their positions in the Lake Tharthar area of eastern Anbar Governorate. The operation resulted in the seizure of a boat and quantities of weapons, while the remaining members of the cell fled after suffering casualties. The area had also witnessed attacks on electricity transmission towers in recent days.

- The secretary-general of Iraq’s Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada, Hajj al-Walai, said: “The martyrs of the resistance, its fighters, and its masses have the right to be proud; positions are tested at major crossroads. In the discussions on regulating weapons and consolidating national sovereignty, the resistance forces did not put forward any personal or political demand, nor did they place any interest above the interest of Iraq. Its fundamental concern is Iraq’s sovereignty, national decision-making, and independence, and rejecting foreign tutelage and interference; these are principles worthy of sacrifice and take precedence over all considerations. Truly, it is ‘resistance… until Iraq is master of itself.’” #IraqiResistance

- Iraqi parliamentarian Jassim Al-Mousawi emphasized the role of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq’s defense structure, saying that the PMF is a strategic safeguard for the Iraqi state and has demonstrated its effectiveness on the battlefield as an integral part of the country’s official security and military institutions. He said the force contributes to protecting Iraq’s sovereignty and national achievements.

- Iraqi security forces foiled an attempt to smuggle 700,000 Captagon pills and arrested two suspects inside Kuwaiti territory.

🇮🇷 Iran

The Greater Tehran Police Commander announced the discovery of nearly six tons of various types of narcotics, the dismantling of 109 gangs, and the arrest of 157 major traffickers since the beginning of the year.
