our lives just started getting a little too busy at the same time. there were days when we’d both be running around with our own stuff, and even though neither of us stopped caring, there simply wasn’t enough time left for us to properly enjoy being together. eventually, our conversations became more like little check-ins between busy days instead of the long talks we used to have. we just realized we were constantly waiting for the “right time” to have a relationship, and that time never quite came
