✅ We've added another cool feature: you can now add funds to your wallet on 8lends with fiat, without needing to buy USDC on a crypto exchange first.
For now, it's only available to those who use the Privy deposit wallet. It's created automatically when you sign up with email, Google, or Maclear.
✨ The provider of fiat deposits is MoonPay. It's a licensed platform in Europe with a CASP license for crypto-to-fiat transactions.
Before your first fiat deposit, you'll need to complete KYC on MoonPay. This is separate from the KYC verification you complete on 8lends.
To do that, you'll need to provide:
🔘 Proof of identity with your ID card or passport.
🔘 Proof of address with a utility bill or a bank statement.
🔘 Phone number verification via SMS.
Payments are accepted by bank card, provided the name on the card matches the personal information you submitted during your MoonPay KYC.

💸 The service fee is 5%. With the returns you earn on 8lends, it can pay for itself quickly.
