What is staking and why should you join? 🔗
Staking is the process where users "lock up" their cryptocurrency assets in a blockchain network to support its operations and security. In return, they receive rewards in the form of new coins or tokens.

🫥 How does staking work?
Staking is based on the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism or its variations, such as Delegated Proof-of-Stake or Liquid Staking. In these systems, blocks are created by validators selected according to the size of their stake (the tokens they have locked).

💻 Benefits of staking:
1️⃣ You help a decentralized network process transactions and protect it from attacks. The more tokens you stake, the higher the chance that your stake will be chosen to validate a block.
2️⃣ For every validated block, the validator earns a portion of transaction fees or a fixed amount of new tokens issued by the network. As network users make transactions, they pay an fee, which is distributed among validators and stakers.
3️⃣ If the project thrives, its token value may increase. This means that even if you’re simply holding your coins, their value could grow over time, making staking an attractive choice.
4️⃣ Extra benefits to stakers, such as access to new tokens, NFTs, or in-game bonuses.

Staking is not just a way to earn income but also a contribution to the development of cryptocurrency projects 📈
