What Inception says is something different, and I agree with him. The skill gap should be about finding and exploiting space, with less focus on repetitive mechanics.

Right now, the skill gap is about mastering repetitive patterns because the AI attacking is built in a way where you have to follow them.

If you watch eFootball, the game is built in a way where the meta is again terrible LBC.

The difference is that eFootball has other playstyles that work at around 80% of the main meta, and you can actually enjoy the AI attacking.

But apart from AI attacking and manual passing, the game is terrible, and this is just my opinion.

I would love to have the attacking AI from eFootball in FC. They did a great job with this in that game.
