I recently recieved a text message from "telegram" saying i needed to verify my identity on a website that doesnt share a domain w telegram or my account would be closed in "24 hours". Im assuming its an elaborate scam so i will ignore it. However just in case, make sure you're following me on x and youtube. WESTMEN CROWDFUNDING? 💰

I'm thinkin' of doing a crowdfunding campaign for WESTMEN.

The current situation is that I'm basically the only solodev on this project with the ocassional lad or ladette doing some voice acting for the game.
This means I'm doing all the programming. art, animation, music, writing, planning, research, sound design, marketing, video editing, video planning, script writing, social media management etc.

As you can tell it's a bit much 😁

I'd like to get some volunteers to help me with some of these things and build a real team to get things moving. Eventually I'd like to pay people as well, this way I can play to my strengths, you can to yours and complete the game much faster, progress has been a lot slower than I'd like. I gotta bite the bullet and find people.

Which crowdfunding platforms are reliable? Low-ish fees and don't have a history of deplatforming video game projects for being too based? ↖️❔🤔

Also I'm looking for volunteers, do you have any of the following skills? ✏️
- pixel art
- godot ( even simple things like using tilemaps, importing and implementing sound effects etc would be useful, code etc is a bonus )
- voice acting
- video editing
- youtube
- social media
- research (history)
- writing (witty/funny stuff)
