💳 Commission Queries //

According to the developer's technical documentation, Telegram intends to charge a commission of less than 5% for withdrawing “Stars” on Fragment. The final fee will depend on the purchase conditions; for example, withdrawing 50 “Stars” in the US will incur a commission of 4.44%.

☝️ This commission is primarily technical—Telegram aims to cover the costs of withdrawal rather than make a profit.

If a developer opts to spend their “Stars” on Telegram Ads instead of withdrawing them, they won't have to pay any commission to Telegram. Moreover, Telegram will compensate the Apple and Google commission fees by providing a 30% bonus.

“Stars” will be available for developers to use for advertising 21 days after they receive them.

Circumventing the payment systems of Apple and Google could lead to Telegram being removed from app stores. Therefore, bots and mini-apps that ignore the “Stars” integration will be blocked.
