🥲 Orion’s Big Leap? Not Without More Data

OpenAI’s Orion → has completed just 20% of its training but is already nearing GPT-4 levels—except in coding tasks. Facing a data shortage, OpenAI is exploring synthetic data to keep things moving.

Set for a December 2024 release, Orion will first be accessible to partner companies.
