🎮 Meta Unveils Quest 3S: Affordable Mixed Reality

At Meta Connect 2024, Mark Zuckerberg introduced the Meta Quest 3S, the company’s most affordable mixed reality headset, starting at $299.99.

The Quest 3S → shares many of the same features as the Quest 3, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, full-color passthrough vision, and Touch Plus controllers.

It even boasts a longer battery life — 2.5 hours compared to 2.2 for the Quest 3. With improved spatial audio, better support for 2D apps like YouTube and Instagram, and Meta’s Horizon OS, the Quest 3S delivers a high-quality experience at a much lower price point. Preorders are now open, and the device ships on October 15th.
