🕶️ Snap’s New AR Spectacles: Big, Bold, and Still Not for You

Snap has officially launched the fifth generation of its Spectacles → AR glasses, marking a major leap forward in AR technology. The new Spectacles are designed with a larger field of view, advanced hand tracking, and voice control, powered by the newly introduced Snap OS. This allows users to interact with AR content and even collaborate with others in real-time using the same AR experiences.

The glasses also connect to Snapchat, enabling users to "paint" their surroundings with AR effects, browse 3D assets, or engage with Snap’s MyAI assistant.

Although the glasses are not yet available to consumers, developers can subscribe for $99 a month to build AR applications using the device.
