Canadian outdoor gear brand Arc’teryx has teamed up with Google’s X Labs to create MO/GO, powered exoskeleton pants → designed to boost leg strength by up to 40%.

Equipped with electric motors at the knees, these pants make hikers feel up to 14 kilograms lighter, reducing muscle fatigue and joint strain. The system adapts to terrain, providing more assistance on steep inclines and cushioning on descents.

Aimed at outdoor enthusiasts and those with limited mobility, MO/GO pants are available for pre-order now, with a full retail price of $5,000 and an “Early Bird Discount” for those who preorder with a $99 deposit. Expected to ship in late 2025.
