🛠️ Sony’s XR Headset Revolutionizes Enterprise

Sony has unveiled its latest XR Headset → for the enterprise sector at the Augmented World Expo (AWE) in Long Beach, California.

Dubbed the "Spatial Content Creation System," this innovative headset features 4K OLED micro-displays for each eye, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 AI-chip. It also includes a ring controller and a pointing controller for precise interaction with 3D objects.

The system, which was first announced at CES 2024 in collaboration with Siemens, aims to assist content creators in VR and AR environments. With six cameras and sensors, it offers heightened spatial recognition, making it easier for users to create, view, and edit 3D models in extended reality.
