Development of Drupal (or similar) website - Upwork: We are searching for a developer to lead the build of a new website for our client; a bookings specialist, running multiple football tours across the UK and Europe.
Our client is familiar with the Drupal system, however, we will accept proposals with alternative CMS systems based on recommendation and demonstration of experience. We will look to discuss and shape the brief with prospective candidates in order to allow input of your expertise and experience on past projects.
The work required on this project will enable administrators of the new website to seamlessly add tour and associated accommodation information, ensuring a consistent, easy to browse display for their customers. The current website utilises a third party booking system which customers interact with via an iframe; this is not proposed to change in the new site. User stories and priorities assigned by the client will be supplied to shortlisted candidates to support you with providing estimated costings for this project.
This project will give our client a vital brand uplift following a challenging period through the Covid-19 pandemic. As such, brilliant results must be delivered, with a planned launch in May 2022, so as to ensure a swift return on their investment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Proven development experience within the Drupal framework, or similar system
- Commitment to regular communication and video call meetings with the project director
- Positive and dedicated attitude
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Proven experience developing recruitment websites
A full technical scope of works and budget for the project shall be agreed, along with milestones, subject to appointment. The appointed developer/s will be required to participate in scheduled weekly meetings to ensure consistent communication, as well as ad-hoc meetings where required. Project deadlines and day-to-day communication on tasks shall be managed via a project management system called Asana, for which a full introduction may be provided, if required.
