36 hours after his 4th COVID dose, Michael Oesch's legs began to drag. A week later he blacked out driving his school bus on Highway 24. Two weeks after that, an MRI found a 2.8 cm lesion a quarter inch from his brain, his neurologist said he'd never seen one that size without an impact, and that Oesch was lucky to be alive.
Then came the fatigue, migraines, and spasms that reached 7 hours a night - "like a nail spike into your sciatic nerve every 30 seconds." It took two years before he couldn't walk. He says many of his doctors believed it was a vaccine injury but were afraid to write it down. He's now in long-term care, refused neural rehab twice, and says his Vaccine Injury Support Program claim was denied without applying WHO causality standards.
Whatever one concludes about any individual case, stories like this deserve honest investigation and compassionate care, not dismissal. People who report serious reactions after vaccination exist in every country, and pretending nothing happened doesn't serve public health or the people affected. We need transparent systems to assess, treat and support vaccine-injured people worldwide.
