3.5 years later mRNA is still in the blood.
Dr. Peter McCullough @P_McCulloughMD and colleagues published a case report on a 55-year-old man who got three Pfizer COVID shots and later developed multi-organ problems. In the patient they reported:
Spike protein still in plasma and exosomes after 3.2 years.
This shows modified mRNA can last far longer than the original “days to weeks” story. Now the same platform is in the new flu shots. Moderna’s mFLUSIVA was approved in August 2026 for adults 50+.
McCullough’s group is asking the same questions: How long does it last in some people?
Where do the lipid nanoparticles go?
Is there a real off-switch?
Does the risk-benefit match traditional flu vaccines?
