One thing I noticed is how easy it is for someone to piggyback on you when you’re TOO good to them

I sometimes forget that this is one of the dirtiest industries on the planet and a lot of these guys genuinely have no morals

You give someone access, connections, knowledge, opportunities, help them when they need something and after a while they start acting like they’re somehow entitled to everything you built

Being a good person is important

But being TOO nice to people with no principles just teaches them that they can keep taking from you without giving anything back.
