A self-driving Tesla crashed into a California highway (on I-80 in Solano County) patrol vehicle, seriously injuring two officers inside.

According to the officers, the driver said he was asleep at the time and using the car’s driver-assistance technology. FSD is Level 2 and requires constant supervision. Investigation ongoing; vehicle logs will confirm if it was active.
