BREAKING: Rivian has secured a $1B loan from Volkswagen.

The 10-year, non-recourse loan carries a fixed 6.03% yield and is secured only by Rivian's 50% stake in its joint venture with Volkswagen.

Principal repayment of $100M/year begins in year three, with the remaining balance due in October 2036.
