The Memory of Niavaran is a documentary about one of the most historic and splendid landmarks in Tehran, Niavaran Palace, which was once home to the king and his family before the Revolution of 1979. Afarideh converses intimately with the people who run stores near Niavaran Palace or who work in the palace as employees or security guards. These conversations reveal a kind of textured memory that showcases the glory and beauty of this magnificent complex.
