Docunight proudly presents its new program, Docunight Perspectives: Afghanistan.

Our new collection showcases documentaries either made by Afghan directors or about Afghanistan. Though these works span a diverse array of styles and present varying themes, they all may be classified as intrepid narratives. Now is a perfect time to reframe our lens and refocus on Afghanistan in a way that allows us to better comprehend the true weight of the calamity that has befallen this country, one with a fascinating history and rich culture that quickly became overshadowed and disrupted by war.
