Ana Roman (aka Skulptor) is a Latin American New York–based producer, sound activist, and creative technologist exploring post-human intimacy through sound, code, and AI-driven performance. Commissioned by Google for How to Build a Healing Machine, and recognized for Temporal Tide, which transforms UN data into emotionally resonant sonic experiences, her work reimagines algorithms as instruments of connection. Featured at Sonar Festival, Refraction Festival, and MIT Media Lab, Roman catalyzes algorithmic empathy, flipping AI from surveillance device to tool of liberation. Her performances merge GAN-generated visuals, data-driven sound, and embodied DJ sets to conjure new ecologies of desire, resistance, and ritual. Her work has appeared in MixMag and DJ Mag, and continues to shape the future of human–machine collaboration.
