Macron has just issued a statement addressed to the French people.

Macron is calling on white men to apologize to Algeria for crimes committed against Muslims in 1961, while urging the French republic to continue paying tribute to Algeria.

Meanwhile, entire neighborhoods in Marseille, Lyon, and Paris have reportedly been without any police presence for hours. Thousands of businesses have been looted, and chaotic scenes are still unfolding...
